The story behind Sheila Jean's Home care Ltd

About Us

Our Philosophy

Sheila Jeans Home Care is an organisation that prides itself on a friendly family feel. Our over-arching philosophy and aims are to respect and treat all our clients, in the way that we and our relatives would expect and wish to be treated.

Sheila Jeans Home Care has been running for a while and will soon be offering domiciliary services. Although we are a relatively new business, our founder Sophie Barker has worked in care for over eight years and has studied along side work, progressing to care co-ordinator and registered manager within a CQC registered care agency.

Despite being a director Sophie is still very hands on and actively involved in the day to day running of the business.

Why Sheila Jeans?

Sheila Jeans Home Care is named in honour of two Nanas, that Sophie our Director was very close to and cared for until they sadly passed away.

As an experienced carer, she identified problems with some of the care, delivered by existing care companies. Her experiences fuelled Sophie’s desire to create the type of home care company that families would want looking after their relatives and she felt that naming the company Sheila-Jeans was the best way to honour both ladies.
